How do I
heat my rocks:
1.
In Roaster
or Crock Pot® with water on high for a half hour then low for the
remainder of the massage time.
2.
Simmer in water on a stovetop, about 5 minutes-- sort of like cooking an egg.
3.
Pour hot water over rocks and steep for 5 minutes.
When using heated rocks:
REMEMBER HOT ROCKS ARE HOT!
1.
Use common sense. Too hot for your hands – too hot for a massage!
2.
Use a thermometer. Our perfect
heating temperature is 140 degrees.
3.
One you have removed the rock from it bath the temperature will fall. On
average 10-20 degrees bring it to a perfect working temperature of 120
degrees.
3.
If
you are laying/putting your weight on a hot rock wrap the rock in a sheet,
pillow case or towel.
Laying on a hot rock will intensify the temperture.
4.
If you use a roaster/cooker
to heat the rocks always turn if off when you
are finished.
REMEMBER COLD ROCKS ARE COLD!
How do I to chill my rocks:
1.
Refrigerate.
2.
Place in dish with ice cubes. Dry before using.
3.
Freeze

How
do I Clean My Rocks?




Take
care of your rocks. Clean rocks
are healthy rocks.
Sanitize by washing
with
warm water and antibacterial cleaner and rinse.



Salt
cleans your rocks’ energy. Clean energy
rocks are happy rocks.
Steep rocks in salt or salt water for 10 minutes. Rinse.
Let
them sun bathe on a towel for 30 minutes.


Disinfected
rocks are good citizens.
Disinfect
rocks and accessories when they are to be used on more than one person.
For home use: soak for 10 minutes in 2
tablespoons of Clorox® household bleach
added to one quart of water. Rinse thoroughly before use.
For
professional use: use Barbicide® or any hospital grade disinfectant.
Rinse thoroughly before use.
