    Creative Aromatherapy Blending

Essential oils are precious substances.  Literally tons of botanical materials from the earth’s flowers, plants, trees and roots are harvested and distilled to produce these essential oils.  They come from every continent on the globe and are imbued with the spirit of their native land.  Each oil comes from a specific plant species and is classified by its botanical family and functional group.

Once the plant undergoes the process of distillation the essential oil produced becomes a beautiful and potent substance with naturally occurring constituents.  These constituents determine the aromatic quality of an essential oil and place it in a functional group that defines its characteristic action or properties.

Essential oils are truly gifts from our Mother Earth and they have the ability to delight, calm, uplift and restore our body, mind and spirit.  The oils on this card are used in holistic aromatherapy to ease tensions and restore personal well-being.
